About the founder
Maria João
I’m Maria João, a Portuguese mum living in the Netherlands. I started AlmaVidaKids while looking for sturdy, practical toys and furniture that I’d be happy to have in my own home. Things that give children room to explore, join in and play at their own pace.
The planner starts with the same questions I ask parents: what do you already have, how much space needs to stay clear, and what would make the biggest difference now?
